Comments Great facility - and website - can't wait to get on
the track. Would be good if you had some "tourist" oriented
stuff - eg "visiting the UK on holiday? come up to Manchester
and ride the famous track on a hired bike..." sort of thing.
Also, how about some technical drawings of the track - dimensions,
angles etc, or clearer photos?

Comments: I'm UK expat living in San Francisco now, lived close
to Manchester and did mostly time trials as a kid around the
roads of Lancashire. Had a holiday to visit the family in Manchester
a few years ago and decided to stop by the track and try some
track racing - what a fabulous venue and congratulations on
the intro classes. Unfortunately had a bit of a disaster beaking
my collar bone there, but I'll be back. Track racing is a blast!
Good luck with the altitude training setup.

Comments: It was super experiencing
the Commonwealth Games at the Velodrome... a great atmosphere
and brilliant racing. Every time I visit the velodrome I have
two memories: my first visit through which I was gobsmacked
at the architecture of the place... What a gem! Secondly,
a former colleague shared a taster session: he said that out
of all his experiences, riding the velodrome was joint top...
along with sub aqua driving on the Great Barrier Reef... The
Manchester velodrome is special... and a real experience.
Keep up the good work!

Comments: I've seen chris Boardman
do the 1 hour record. I've seen 2 track championships at Manchester.
I've met Miguel Indurain(Personally the best cyclist ever
but probably will be beaten by Armstrong) I've stood on the
starting podeum next to the mayor at the start of the Tour
when it went to Portsmouth. My Dad used to compete on a Friday
night at the track and used to write articles for our local
rag for the cycling team he used to cycle for (Kinder Racing
Team). He died in Jan 1998. If their's anyone who knew my
dad through cycling or if their's any other young track fans
please don't hesitate to contact me. Rory 16 Thankyou. P.S.
The site definetly does the track justice.

Comments:: Hi i just wanted to say i am only 17 years old but
i visited the velodrome when i was 16 with the Brittish Cycling
Talent Team. When i arrived i was amazed everywhere was so clean
and tidy and the staff were so friendly. But most of all it
was the sheer amzment when i walked under the track it really
took my breath away. I can still rember it perfectly right up
until this very day. However the best bit was when i actually
got on to the track. That is one experience in my life which
i would love to re live everyday and i would certainly recomend
it to everybody. Thank you for that experience and keep up the
good work

Comments:: Hi, just wanted to say that the Saturday's World
Classics, held by the UCI was so brilliant! I'm only a youth
and I go cycling at my local velodrome, but nothing compares
to this one! It was amazing watching GB Cycling Team get sooooo
many medals. But the BEST had to be when Darren Kenny beat the
World Paralympic hour record. Keep up the good work!!! John
